CURLEY John T. Curley, age 78, of Trumbull, died in St. Vincentas Medical Center, Bridgeport, on Thursday, November 27, 2003, after a brief illness. Son of the late Dr. William H. Curley Sr. and Johanna Curran Curley, he was born on August 13, 1925, in Bridgeport. He was a graduate of Hotchkiss Preparatory School in Lakeville, Conn. and received and undergraduate degree at Fairfield University in the first graduating class of 1951. He received a law degree at St. Johnas University Law School and then passed the Connecticut Bar. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II. He was a former member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Brooklawn Country Club. He worked for the State of Connecticut until his retirement. He is survived by two sisters, Mary C. Beisel and her husband, Rex, of Branford and Joan C. Ferry and her husband, Thomas, of Meriden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Dr. William H. Curley Jr. and Robert J. Curley. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at 11 a.m. at St. Theresaas Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in St. Michaelas Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday morning, December 2, 2003, from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the Shaughnessey Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield.
