John "Jack" Clay Shane June 03, 1965 - August 27, 2014 Myrtle Beach John "Jack" Clay Shane, 49, of Myrtle Beach, SC, slipped quietly away into the loving hands of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2014. Jack was born June 3, 1965 at the US Army Hospital in Neubrcke, Germany. He graduated from Lake Wood High School, Springfield, VA., and attained an associate degree in Electronic Technology from Horry Georgetown Technology College. Jack was a gentle man and was devoted to his parents John and Elaine Shane. His memory will never fade from those who cherished and loved him. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Surfside 711 16th Ave North, Surfside Beach, SC 29575 at 11:00 am Thursday September 4, 2014 with Reverend David Pohto presiding. Visitation with the family will be in the church sanctuary from 10:15 am until 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the church's "Green Dolphin Fund" in Jack's name.
