CURTIN John R., on March 28, 2008, of Rutherford, NJ, age 82. John was born in New York City, and worked as a mechanical engineer for Viking Taxi Meter company in East Rutherford, NJ before retiring. He was a parishoner and usher of St. Mary R.C. Church, Rutherford as well as a member of the Rutherford Old Guard and Rutherford Democratic Club. Beloved husband to Margaret E. (nee O'Shaughnessy). Devoted father to Maureen McCann, Gerardine Lamendola and her husband Mark and the late Robert M. Curtin (1984). Loving brother to Catherine Godfrey, James Curtin and brother-in-law to Mary Gresser. Adored grandfather to Tara and Lauren McCann, Melissa and Michael Lamendola, and Lyndsay Curtin. Cherished great-grand-father to Bradley Norton and Emma Spadora. John is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Macagna-Diffily-Onorato Funeral Home 41 Ames Avenue, Rutherford, NJ on Monday March 31, 2008 at 9 AM thence to St. Mary R.C. Church, Rutherford where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 AM. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
