Avis de décès de John Hebert


CARENCRO - Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for John Hebert, 56, who died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2005, in Carencro due to a motorcycle accident.The Rev. R. Rhodes Stipp, pastor of First Presbyterian of Lafayette, will officiate at the services.Mr. Hebert was a native and life long resident of Carencro. He was a veteran of the military having served during the Vietnam War.Survivors include one son, Shawn Michael Hollis and his wife, Monica, of Des Allemands; five brothers, James Allen Hebert, of Carencro, Richard Dale Hebert, of Lafayette, Ernest Keith Hebert, of McEwen, Tenn., David Hebert, of Alexandria, and Bryan Hebert, of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Judy Anne Hebert Broussard and Sandra Hebert Turland, both of Lafayette, Melissa Hebert Wain and husband, George, of Carencro, and Pamela Sue Hebert, of Youngsville; two grandchildren, Brittany Michelle Watson and Amber Renee Hollis; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Hebert and the former Hazel Marie Begnaud.The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5 p.m. today until time of services.Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N. University Ave., Carencro, (337) 896-3232, is in charge of arrangements.
