As a past president of the British Columbia Country Music Association, John had a true passion for country music. The famous Annual Corn Roast at the turf farm was one of many music shows he enjoyed putting together. Musicians from all over Canada would come and play during this weekend - long jam session. He was also a past charter member of the North Langley Lions Club. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family, especially for his wonderful sense of humour.
