->FORT WORTH, Texas -- Joanne A. "Jo" Norton, 71, a homemaker and seamstress, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008.Jo was born July 24, 1936, in Anson, Maine, to Ernest and Violet Currier. She graduated from Madison High School in Maine and business school in San Antonio, and even held a manicurist license. Jo had numerous hobbies which included many arts and crafts, cake decorating, sewing, bowling, camping, playing the organ, reading, and games. She was a current and founding member of CrossBridge Baptist Church.Survivors are her loving husband of 47 years, Sam; son, David Norton and his wife, Tyna, of Angleton; daughters, Vicky Perrone and her husband, Ed, of Mount Pleasant, Jeanine Richards and her husband, Norman, of Angleton, and Colleen Norton of Mansfield; sister, Judy Rodzen and husband, Bob, of Madison, brothers, Ronald Currier and wife, Laurelee, of Norridgewock, Bob Currier and wife, Marie, of North Port, Fla., and Rodney Currier and wife, Robin, of Hernando, Fla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at CrossBridge Baptist Church, 8200 Tumbleweed Trail, Fort Worth; (817) 367-7300.Arrangements are by Winscott Road Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Benbrook.
