CARSON-CAVOTO Joan (Joanie) Beal Carson-Cavoto, age 66, of Monroe, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Joanie was born in New Orleans to the late Clyde Beal and Ann Perna of Fairfield, and was a longtime area resident. A graduate of Central High School, she was employed at Macy's Department store for may years in the china /bridal registry department. Joanie was a member of the Tuesday Night Ladies Nutmeg Bowling League, and the Tashua Women's Golf Club. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Carson, her daughter, Kimberly and her brother Robert Beal. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Patrick Carson of Los Angels, Calif., and Michael Todd Carson and his wife, Joanne of Orange; her second husband, Joseph Cavoto of Monroe; four brothers and sisters, Isabel Perri of Stamford, Linda Collins of Monroe, Patty Beal of Harrison, N.Y., and Frank Perna of Litchfield; three grandchildren, Brittany Flannery, Sara Carson and Brian Carson; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Chloe; her beloved pet, Rags; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.
