Jo Bolding KayEasley SCJo Bolding Kay, 76, of Easley, wife of Doyle W. Kay, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.Born in Pickens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Maude Cantrell and James Broadus Bolding.She was retired from Baptist Medical Center Easley as an insurance specialist. Jo and Doyle have been active members of Easley First Baptist Church for many years, involved in WMU, Sunday School, and other activities. Jo was a person who always considered others first and was always giving of her time and love. She loved her Furman schoolmates, the Lakemont community, and all her Easley friends. Her favorite things in life involved her family, especially her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Doyle W. Kay, a son, Kevin B. Kay , his wife Julia, a son-in-law Gable D. Stubbs, and her grandchildren, Wesley Stubbs, Sidney Stubbs, Mary Grace Kay, Julian Kay, and Jamie Kay.She was predeceased by her parents and daughter, Amy Kay Stubbs.A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Easley First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the church narthex. Burial will be private.
