Jean E. (Dorcas) Andrews, 92, of Hudson, MA. Formally of Hopkinton, MA and North Port, FL died Sunday Nov. 17, 2013. Born July 11, 1921 in Fredericton, N.B.,Canada to Keith and Lillian Dorcas. Wife of the late William Andrews who died in 1983. She is survived by her daughter Fae Healy and son in law Patrick of Hudson, MA and son Brian McCullough of Hartland, N.B. She is also survived by her brothers Robert Dorcas of St. John, N.B. and Winston Dorcas of Lynwood, MA and grandchildren Emily Roberto and William Healy of Hudson, MA and several nieces and nephews throughout the US and Canada. She is predeceased by husband William, daughter Marilyn Andrews, sister Marlene Hampton Clarke and brothers William and Cedric Dorcas. Jean moved to the US in the 1940's where she met and married her husband. She worked for many years at Raytheon prior to the couple's retirement to Florida in the winters and Grand lake, N.B. Canada in the summers. Traveling was a favorite pastime of hers with adventures taking her to places around the world. She also loved the game of Bingo as she grew older. A memorial service will be held December 7th, 2013 at 2:00 pm at St Marks United Church, 50 Dexter Drive, St John West, N.B. Canada. A reception to follow, Rev John Roy will officiate. Jean's cremains will be laid to rest next to her husband in Port Charlotte, FL at a later date.
