Jean D. Labadie EAST BRIDGEWATER Jean D. (MacWilliams) Labadie, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Pembroke, passed away Oct. 18, 2009, at her home in East Bridgewater, after a battle with cancer for several years. She was the beloved wife of Charles Dick Labadie; loving mother of Roderick Perry of Plymouth, Brian Perry of Florida, Russell Perry of Plymouth, Lori-Jean Vining of Pembroke, Karl Perry of Lakeville and the late Jeffrey Perry; sister of Lorraine Irish of Kingston and the late Howard MacWilliams; grandmother of 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Jean worked for the F.L. & J.C. Codman Co. in Rockland for over 30 years. She loved gardening and was an avid painter and a talented artist. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hanson. She also enjoyed summers at the cottage and spending time with her family. Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman, Wednesday 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment at Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater.
