Mr. James William "J.W." Weldon, 68, of 903 Center Road passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Christian Home Baptist Church in Lowrys with the Rev. J.F. Williams officiating and the Rev. C.J. Stringfellow delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Chester County on March 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Roosevelt Weldon and Josie Moffatt Weldon. He was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church, where he formerly served as a trustee. He was educated in the public schools of Chester County and was formerly employed by Superior Essex. Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Ann Tillman Weldon; four daughters, Natasha (Henry) Brown, Wysheka L. (Vernon) Jackson, Alicia L. (Jason) Witherspoon and Barbara Edmonds; two sons, Maurice Chalk and Wilbur Edmonds; two brothers, Jerry Weldon and Wilie B. Weldon; two sisters, Jessie Graham and Martha Moore; 10 grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the home. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester.
