AITKEN, James "Jim" Robert Passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009 in his 48th year after a 6 month battle with heart disease. Loving husband of Debra Ann Battison Aitken. Devoted father of James Bedford Aitken. Beloved son of Jean and the late James Hugh Aitken. Dear brother of Rosslyn (Lorne), Kelly (Bruno) and John (Gillian). Proud uncle of Richard, Lee-Ann, Matthew, Amy, Jimmy, Dan, Robbie, Jessie, Chantal, Philip and Amanda. Dear son-in-law to Bud and Betty Battison. Lovingly remembered by the Aitken, Stonehouse, Battison and Bacho families and sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues. Jim has touched so many lives on his brief journey on this earth but always made the most of life. Jim was the President of Dynamex Canada Corp. and proudly was the driving force of it's great success today. He worked tirelessly both at home and at work to make people happy. The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and a special thank you to Anne Stolarik. Family and friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Barrhaven, Thursday, April 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, April 17th, 2009 in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. In Memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute appreciated.
