LAMONT, James "Mel". - (retired employee Air Canada, 38 years of service). Suddenly while on vacation, on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in his seventy-third year. Loved husband of the late Sheila and dear father of Gail and Heather. Mel will be sadly missed by sister Elsie Delaney, Ethel Cyr and her husband Slim, Shirley Knapp and her husband Larry, brother Donald and his wife Yvonne, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and devoted pet Sheba. Predeceased by his brother Billy. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main Street South (Highway #10), Brampton from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church, 187 Conestoga Drive, Brampton. Interment Meadowvale Cemetery.
