ALLAN, Jack - Passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the age of 84. Beloved husband for 63 years of Jane Allan. Loving father of Wayne (Pamela), Gail, Janet (Tom), Dawn (Bill), Terri (Simon) and Mike (Sherry). Brother of Edna (Joe) and Bob (Ann). Grandfather of 15 and Great Grandfather of 17. Pre-deceased by his brothers Harold and Gerald and his sister Media. Jack was employed with Hayes- Dana for 34 years, retiring in 1985. He is a veteran of World War II, serving in the Lincoln Welland Regiment and the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry (R.H.L.I.) and also a member of RCL Branch 138 in Merritton. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St., 905-684-6346. on Thursday, November 24, 2005 from 7-9 p.m and on Friday, November 25, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Merritton Legion Branch 138 will hold a service in the funeral home on Friday, November 25, 2005 at 7 p.m. Jack's last wish was no flowers be sent.
