Joan Norrisof ApalachinJoan Norris, 74, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 19, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Norris in 1999. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Cathleen and Richard Stevens, Endicott, Julie Norris and her partner, David Kellis, San Francisco, Calif.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Rosanne Norris, Binghamton, Ed and Kim Norris, Owego; grandchildren, Jennifer Stevens and her partner, Bryan Davidson, R.J. Stevens, Todd and Nicole Kariam, April and Dan Smallcombe, Jay, Lee and Anna Norris, Joshua Norris, Jeff and Matt McCarty; one great-grandson, Luke Kariam; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Carolyn Miller, Milford, N.H.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie and John Neylan, Endicott; brother-in-law, Richard Norris, Rutland, Vt., and Joyce Norris, Rutland, Vt.; sisters-in-law, Patricia Norris and Evelyn Miller, both of Binghamton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren. Joan was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish-St. Margaret Mary's Church in Apalachin, where she volunteered many hours. She was retired from the Apalachin Post Office and Puglisi Tax Service in Vestal. Joan was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who had many friends. She will be missed by all.A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish-St. Margaret Mary's Church, 1110 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Apalachin. The family will receive friends at Blessed Trinity Parish-St. Margaret Mary's Church on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Joan's memory may be made to Blessed Trinity Parish-St. Margaret Mary's Church, 1110 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin, N.Y. 13732. Arrangements are by the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott.
