Isabelle Mitchellof Conklin, N.Y.Isabelle Mitchell, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday, August 15, 2006. She leaves behind a family assured that she and her husband of 56 years, Ken, are once again dancing together. She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Laberta Hunter; sisters, Margaret Mitchell, Alberta Williams, Grace Shaffer; and brother, Donald Hunter. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and James Harder, Binghamton, Janet and David West, Endwell, Bonnie and Mike Smith, Hillcrest; grandchildren, Shawne and Scott Demberg, Westtown, N.Y., Barbara and Tom Durkot, Binghamton, Katelynn West, Endwell, Ericka Demberg, Westtown, N.Y., James Harder Jr. and SaBrina, Binghamton, Cathy and Kevin Van Gorder, Mt. Airy, N.C., James Harder III, Derrick Harder, Adam Harder, Brandy and Casie Van Gorder; sister-in-law, Evelyn Knowlton; brother-in-law, Leland and Mary Mitchell; brother-in-law, Meredith Bishop; sister-in-law, Eleanor and Clark Dayton; sister-in-law, Frances Mitchell; brother-in-law, Louis Mitchell and Debbie; sister-in-law, Eleanor Hunter; also many other loving family members and friends; and her canine companion, Pooka. Isabelle and her family would like to also thank all of the special helpers, Debbie, Nicole, Ginny, Michelle, Jessica, and her new special friend, Trinity. Isabelle loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother to her wonderful family, as well as traveling, especially to Lake George, N.Y.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
