ALLISON, Iris Helen Iris Helen Allison died on June 8th at 08.00 AM at Mount Tolmie Hospital, Victoria. Helen departed peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus has been centre to Helen''s life since her happy, family childhood days. She was the epitome of gentleness, thoughtfulness and kind words. She portrayed Jesus who calls us to "love thy neighbour as thyself." Helen gave generously of both her love and resources especially to those who were greatly in need, both at home and in Haiti. One of Helen''s favourite Bible verses was: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love Him" I Corinthians 2: 9. Now she knows fully of that wonderful promise. She will be greatly missed by so many who loved and cherished this dearest of souls. The funeral celebration will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, 930 Burdett Ave, Victoria on Wednesday, June 17th at 02.00 PM.
