NOLAN Helen Mary, age 79, of Hawthorne, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Helen was raised in Carteret and lived in Edison before moving to Hawthorne in 1960. She owned and operated Helena's Flower Shop in Edison before starting her family. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. She was an avid gardener and was active with her late husband in the NJ Education Association. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Nolan (2005). Loving mother of Sean F. Nolan of New Brunswick and Brian W. Nolan and his wife Elizabeth Walsh of Bloomfield. Dear sister of Mary Ann Cap of Delray Beach, FL and the late Francis Cap (2003). Sister-in-law of Constance Cap of Carteret. Dearest aunt of Francis Cap and his wife Paula of Cranbury and David Cap and his wife Jean Marie of East Brunswick. Funeral will depart at 9 AM on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, for a 9:30 AM funeral mass at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Entombment will follow at St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. (www.browningforshay.com)
