CLIFFORD Helen (nee Dunn) January 2, 1948 - December 13, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Clifford of Richmond, B.C. on December 13, 2009 at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with cancer. First wife of the late Richard Clifford. Cherished daughter of Charles and Helen Dunn. Proud and loving mother to Leah (her husband Mark Benoit), of Renfrew, Ontario and Richard (his friend Angela Walker) of Vancouver B.C. Predeceased by her brother Daniel Dunn (Elaine Dunn) of Richmond,, B.C. She will be grieved by her brother-in-law Jim Clifford (his wife Carol), many cousins, nieces and nephews, her many friends, along with her extended family of Ottawa, Ontario and Grand Calumet Island, Quebec. She will be sadly missed by Winnie who has been an exceptional and supportive friend to Helen during such a difficult time. Dearly missed by the staff of the Morgan Creek Golf Club where she spent so many enjoyable days with all her coworkers. A special thanks to the staff of the Richmond General Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit who gave much comfort to the well being of our dear mom. Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul Parish on Friday December 18th at 10:00 a.m. at 8251 St. Alban's Road, Richmond, B.C. A celebration of Helen's life to be held at Morgan Creek Golf Course, 3500 Morgan Creek Way in Surrey, B.C. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009. Burial Service to be held at Gardens of Gcthsemani , 15800 32 Second Avenue, Surrey, B.C. at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
