MAHONEY,HAZEL KATHLEEN, 81Ocala - Mrs. Hazel Kathleen Mahoney, 81, of Ocala, Florida died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Legacy House Hospice. She was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota and had moved to Ocala in 1992 from Tallahassee, Florida. She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. She was a 1948 graduate of the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. She loved crossword puzzles, reading, interior decorating, but most of all her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James Mahoney of Ocala, FL, her three sons, Terrence A. Mahoney of Quincy, FL, Mark A. Mahoney and Patrick A. "Tony" Mahoney, both of Tallahassee, FL, her two daughters Kathleen A. Mahoney-Morris of Montgomery, AL and Coleen A. Mahoney of Ocala, FL, her brother, David Yogerst of Ocala, FL, her three sisters, LaVerne Barrett of Dover, NJ, Jane Yogerst of Green Valley, AZ and Rosemary Gosiak of Ocala, FL, also her four loving grandchildren Zoe-Lena and Anthony Mahoney of Tallahassee, FL and Lacey and Logan DeSouza of Ocala, FL. A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Friday, February 8, 2008 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and a private family interment will be at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
