WOOD, Harold. Peacefully after an extreme and courageous battle with cancer at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 26, 2006. Harold "Woody" Joseph Wood (former employee of CAE Electronics of St. Laurent, QC) of Alexandria, ON: age seventy-six years. Beloved husband of Laurie MacDonald. Dear father of Philipe Wood of Alexandria, ON, Kevin Wood (Sia Lerikose) of Pierrefonds, QC, Barry Wood of Lachine, QC, Donald Wood of Long Sault, ON and Elizabeth Wood of Pointe-Claire, QC. Cherished grandfather of Andrea, Tyler, Shona, Sharon, Aaron, Kevin, David and Paul and great-grandfather of Faith. Beloved son of the late Tom Wood and the late Mary Blondin. Predeceased by one brother Donald Wood. Dear son-in-law of Jacqueline (Wilkins) MacDonald of Toronto, ON. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East, Cornwall, ON (613-933-2841) from 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday, May 31, 2006 for service in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Interment in Saint Anthony's Cemetery in Apple Hill, ON. The family will be in attendance from 7 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.
