McLEOD - Gordon Bruce July 30, 1957 to February 25, 2008 Devoted son, thoughtful brother and affectionate and caring uncle is lovingly remembered by his parents, George and Phyllis McLeod, sisters Norma Woods, Beverly McLeod (Frank Linseisen) and Nancy (Tim) Liebich. He is fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Angela and Ken Woods, Markus Linseisen and Erin, Jaine and Owen Liebich. Gordon was born at Woodfibre and worked for many years at the pulp mill. Over time he advanced to a second class power engineer, he was also interested in Karate where he reached senior levels. He also was a omnivorous reader with an interest in history while also looking forward to current and future science and politics. Gordon was thoughtful with family and friends as well as gentle and kind with children and animals. Memories of his old world courtesy, considerate gifts and quiet presence are treasured by his family. A celebration of Gordon's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Squamish Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
