Genevieve Helen Wilde Peacefully, on Monday, April 4th, 2011, our Dear Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Wife, Genevieve Helen Wilde (Jordan) (Janzen), passed into the loving arms of her Lord. She was 80 years young. Genny was a loving soul and leaves a family who will miss and remember her kind spirit each and every day: Daughter"s Lorraine (John) Campbell of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Sharon (Ross) Perry of Regina, Leona (Roy) Makowski of Winnipeg and Betty-Anne (Ernie) Heft of Regina. Son Lloyd (Ivy) Jordan of Regina. As well, 18 grandchildren will continue to share stories of their Grandma with their families and friends: Todd, Pam (Chad), Nathan (Kathy), Richard (Ali), Janine, Kristin, Adam, Jordan, Karlee, Alecia, Jennifer, John, Jensiea, Art, Blaize, Wyatt, Sean and Kiera. Great Grandchildren Mason, Gabriel, Jesse, Annabelle and Chloe will carry her spirit with them always. Genny leaves her husband Arthur who provided her with so much love and companionship - they were a perfect pair in every way. Aside from her love of family, Genny was passionate about all sports especially her beloved Roughriders, Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. Her legacy will be her warmth and concern for all, compassion and unconditional love of family and her remarkable example of hard work and perseverance through difficult times. She will always live in our hearts. Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8th - 10:00 am at Regina Memorial Gardens, Victoria Avenue East. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
