-> Rincon - Mr. Gary S. Norton, died on Tuesday after a long illness. Born in Selma, AL., Mr. Norton had lived in Savannah for many years. He was a member of Chapel In The Gardens Presbyterian Church and retired from the trucking industry. Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years Gloria Norton of Rincon; sons, Gary Norton, Jr. of Savannah, Tyrone Norton of Douglasville and Jeremy Norton of Savannah; grandson, Chad Norton of Stone Mountain; brother, Howard Norton of Waynesboro; father-in-law and his wife Alex and Nita McNeely of Savannah; brother-in-law, Cecil McNeely of Faulkville and several cousins. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. on Friday at Chapel In The Gardens Presbyterian Church.
