GEORGE PETER ELLIOTTJanuary 22, 1942 – December 11, 2013George passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at the young age of 71. George is survived by his wife Jane, son Duncan (Kimberely) Elliott, daughter Roberta (Howard) Doell, grandchildren Austin, Blake, Amelia, Kenneth and Henry, sister Barbara (David) Galbraith, brother-in-law John (Carol) Heystek, nephews, nieces, and cousins and their families. George was born in Brandon, Manitoba on January 22, 1942. He lived in various cities across Canada, but always called Saskatoon home. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of 6100 at R.U.H for their compassionate care, especially student nurses Mira and Christina who made him laugh. And to Dr. Iqbal from the Cancer clinic and his staff for giving George "quality of life" for such a long time. And lastly, thank you to special friend James McGregor for being there for all of us. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to The Shriner's Hospital for Children in Montreal.
