Frances S. Carver of 4 Jolly Street died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at her home.A native of Graham County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Hattie Cooper Slaughter and the widow of Floyd W. Carver.Mrs. Carver was a member of City View First Baptist Church and a retired employee of Southern Weaving.Surviving are two sons, Persol R. Carver of Greenville, and Ronnie D. Carver of Piedmont; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Graveside services and burial will be Monday at Noon at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at 7 River Street, Piedmont.
