ADAMS Frances M. (Cordingly), 95, formerly of Providence Place, Pottsville, PA died Thursday afternoon at Schuylkill Center Genesis Eldercare, Pottsville. She was born February 13, 1919 in Dorchester, MA. Frances was employed as a seamstress for Evan Piccone. She designed and created ladies' suits and dresses that would be worn by the models on the runways. She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Adams; a son Wayne Adams; grandson Michael Adams; and a sister Helen Cordingly. Frances is survived by her son, Bruce Adams and wife Barbara, Auburn; grandsons John Adams and wife Lynne, Schuylkill Haven; Clint Skala and wife Stacy, Hillsboro, NJ; and great-grandchildren Jordan and Corey Adams and Pierce and Sierra Skala. Funeral Services will be held 7 PM Sunday at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 6PM until time of service at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge New Jersey.
