Florence Douglas 1948 - 2013 SPRINGFIELD - Florence Douglas, 64, passed away on April 28, 2013 in Springfield, MA after a long illness. She was born in Springfield, MA on September 25, 1948 to Joanna Peters and Lewis Douglas. She was raised in Pueblo, CO where she graduated from Central High School in 1966. She returned to Springfield in 1993 where she remained. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Joanne (JoJo) Douglas of Springfield, MA; her son, Lamont Douglas of Hartford, CT, grandchildren Kanita Ferguson, Tyesha Ferguson, Deante Douglas, Jamal Douglas, Latiana Thomas, all of Springfield, MA and Lanya Skye Douglas of SC; Brothers Leslie Douglas (Olivia), MA, Odell Roberts, Denver, CO, Rudy Brooks (Charmon), VA, Terrence Douglas (Karen), CO; Sisters Loretta Douglas, VA, , Judy Williams, CT, Denise Brewer (Clint), VA, Faith Richardson and Marie Walker both of NC;3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday May 6, 2013 at Mission Church, 20 Bowdoin Terrace, Springfield, MA. Wake at 10am to 12 noon, and service at 12 noon. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
