Florence Audrey Card, 83, from Syracuse, NY went off to be with the love of her life, her husband, Raymond S. Card, of 52 years on May 17, 2014. She passed away unexpectedly at the Royal Oak Nursing Center, Dade City, FL. Audrey was born in Syracuse and was the daughter of John and Florence (Ditch) Spencer. She was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy and retired from Marine Midland Bank having worked in the personnel department. Upon her retirement, she and her husband lived in Calabash, NC for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, and proud grandmother. She and her husband thought of nothing to get in their car from NC to see their grandchildren reach key milestones; they never missed a prom, homecoming, championship games or graduations. She enjoyed playing golf as well as being an avid Syracuse University sports fan. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Raymond; brothers, Edward P. Spencer and John R. Spencer III. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Karen) of Liverpool, NY, Michael (Margaret) of Skaneateles, NY, and Thomas (Roberta) of Wesley Chapel, FL. Additionally, she is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at the Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, 49 Jordan St., Skaneateles.
