ANDRE, Ferdinand Paul "Mike" (WWII Veteran and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95) With dignity and courage, surrounded by love on Sunday, June 26, 2005, at the Lanark Lodge in Perth, Ferdinand Paul "Mike" Andre, age 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Evalyn Dewey. Loving father of Paul (Helen) of Lumsden, Sask., Susan Blouin (Steve Mitchell) and Eileen Mallette (Rick) of Orleans and predeceased by daughter Brenda. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Douglas, Leanne and Michael; Jamie, Jennifer, and Michael; Andrew and Sara and cherished great-grandfather of Ashley and Danielle. Also survived by a brother Phillip Andre (Gwen) of Smiths Falls, sister Jeanette Balfe of Lombardy, sister-in-law Muriel Wing of St. Catharines and brother-in-law Boyce (Red) Ritchie. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Albert, Roland, Victor and William Andre; Simone Clarke, Anita Armstrong and Lucille Ritchie. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home in Smiths Falls on Wednesday, June 29,2 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with Legion Service held at 6:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church in Smiths Falls on Thursday, June 30, at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Francis de Sales Parish Cemetery. In memory of Mike, donations to the St. Francis de Sales "Into the Future" Fund or to the Smiths Falls Hospital "Your health...OUR PROMISE!" fund would be appreciated.
