Emma, Tompkins age 101 died peacefully February 22 at her home in Boca Raton, FL. She was born April 25, 1912, to Joseph and Minnie Tompkins in New York City. She was pre-deceased by her husband Peter Milton Harrison in 1968 and her sister, Leah Klein in 1997. Emma will be missed by her children, Peter and Vicky Harrison, Russell Harrison and Edward and Kay Harrison. Her grandchildren, Matthew, Thane, Susan and James spent many happy years growing up in her presence. Having lived to see five great-grandchildren was a source of great happiness to her. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Tompkins and sister, Shirley Stein and several nieces and nephews. The family expresses its gratitude for the exemplary care she received from the staff at the Homewood Residence in Boca Raton and Hospice by the Sea. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 1, at 12:00 noon at the Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel 7500 North State Road Seven Coconut Creek, FL.
