May 7, 2006 Ellen Mahoney, 83, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday. Born in County Mayo, Ireland, Ellen was a retired registered nurse having worked in hospitals and private practice in New York City. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and the widow of John Mahoney who died in 2000. Surviving are her daughter, Della (Paul) Bonomo of Liverpool; grandson, Gary Bonomo of Liverpool; nieces and nephews in Ireland, Georgia and Idaho and cousins in Connecticut. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rt. 31, Baldwinsville. A funeral mass will be offered by her nephew Rev. John Walsh on Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church with burial to follow in Our Lady Of Peace Cemetery, Clay.
