NEWBERRY, Elizabeth, 82, of Avon Park, Fla., died September 1, 2006, at home. She was born October 22, 1923, in Chardon, Ohio where she lived with her husband, Stanley, until they retired and moved to Reflections on Silver Lake Park in Avon Park in 1996. She was a homemaker and an elementary school secretary in Ohio. She and Stanley volunteered serving Meals on Wheels for several years in Avon Park. She loved being involved with her friends and family. She so enjoyed her church in Reflections as well as the First Christian Church in Avon Park. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 63 years, Stanley; daughters, Joan Beach (Lon) of St Louis, Mo and Carolyn Luoma (Ken) of Avon Park; brother, Harry Ash; sister-in-law, Ann Ash; four granddaughters, Stephanie, Carrie, Mindy, Jody; and seven great-grandchildren. Elizabeth had many extended family members and friends who meant so much to her through her life. She was always a gentle, cheerful, and loving person. Her everlasting smile will always be a ray of sunshine for so many of us. A memorial service will be conducted October 7, 2006, in Chardon, Ohio.
