PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- Elizabeth (Fletcher) Beaulieu, 85, died Sunday, Nov 21, 2004, at Speare Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Newfane, Vt., on Feb. 21, 1919, the daughter of Louie C. and Rena (Powers) Fletcher. She attended schools in Brattleboro.She was a member of the Fletcher Sisters Quartette, performing weekly in the late 1930s over radio station WHAI in Greenfield, Mass.She met and married Albert L. Beaulieu in 1942 and went with him as he served in the Medical Corps. In 1953, they made their home in Plymouth, where her husband was administrator of Speare Memorial Hospital. They had three sons. She was a devoted wife and mother and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.She was predeceased by her husband, her son Richard, and four sisters, Judith May, Evelyn Robinson, Helen Sichley and Bertha Aleksiewicz.She leaves two sons, Robert Beaulieu and Russell Beaulieu and his wife, Gail, of Plymouth; a brother, L. Charles Fletcher of Brattleboro; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed.Private services were held at the Mayhew Funeral Home on Wednesday, the Rev. Margaret Bickford officiated. Burial was in the Trinity Churchyard Cemetery in Holderness.
