Professional Engineer, retired - Bell Canada After a brief but courageous battle with acute leukemia, we are sad to announce the passing of Edwin Robert Allan on Wednesday, October 1st, 2003 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Allan (nee Sinclair). Cherished father of Lorraine Perry (Rick), Robert (Susan), James (Eileen), Keith (Mona) and Carolyn. Loving grandfather of Jessie, Kim and Tommy Perry, Tina and Craig Allan, Eric and Jean-Luc Allan, Chantal, Derek, Isabelle and Kevin Allan. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.), Nepean on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Kanata United Church, 33 Leacock Dr., Kanata on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kanata United Church or the Haematology Unit at the Ottawa General Hospital would be appreciated.
