Insig_af.jpgEdward V. Dombrowski YARDVILLE Edward V. Dombrowski, 79, passed peacefully with his entire family by his side on Oct. 1, 2014, in the Hackensack University Medical Center. Born in Nanticoke, PA, Ed resided in Yardville for most of his life. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He retired from McGuire Air Force Base as a automotive supervisor employed by the U.S. Government. Ed had been a member of the Mercer County Bowling Association since 1958, was an avid stamp and coin collector, and was very active in St. Raphael's Food Pantry. Predeceased by his parents, Adam and Lillian Gruskiewicz Dombrowski, and sisters, Helen Wodyka and Dolores Phillips, Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Natalie Micholuk Dombrowski; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Greg Jaffa of Wayne, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Ken Dombrowski and Linda Casteel of Snellville GA; a sister, Carol Sickles of Levittown, PA; three grandsons, Paul Jaffa and fiancee Cheryl Katzman, and Scott Jaffa, and Adam Dombrowski, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Raphael's Church. Calling hours are Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 - 9 a.m. at the Hartmann Memorial Home, 2830 Nottingham Way, Mercerville, NJ 08619. Entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Raphael's Food Pantry, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton NJ 08610, in his memory.
