ALLAN, Douglas GordonBorn in Montreal, QC moved to Lindsay 8-and-a-half years ago. Entered into rest peacefully surrounded by his family, at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday November 21, 2016 at the age of 84. Beloved husband for 21 years of Judy LeFeuvre. Loving father of Patricia Clark (Craig), David Allan (Susan), Robert Allan (Nathalie Boivin). Cherished grandpa to Emily and Charlotte Allan. Dear brother of Ron (Kath), brother-in- law to Marnie Nelles. Favourite uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, also fondly remembered by his many friends. In Montreal Doug belonged to Ephraim Scott Memorial Presbyterian Church, from childhood, and found a new church family in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lindsay where he especially enjoyed singing with Joye''s Boys. Family and friends are invited to call at St. Andrews Church, William Street Lindsay on Friday November 25 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations to the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation may be made at the service or online at www.mackeys.ca. The family would like to thank the staff of Victoria Manor for their devotion to Doug and to the many Doctors and Staff of the Ross Memorial Hospital who were involved in Doug''s care, especially Dr. Sara-Lynn Francis for her exceptional care and compassion.
