MORRISON _ Dorothy September 6, 1932 - June 27, 2006 Dorothy Morrison, beloved wife of Ken Morrison of Opposum Bay, Tasmania, Australia and Penticton, B.C. (formerly of Calgary, Alta.), passed away peacefully after a strong fight against cancer. She is survived by two sons: Senator Nick Sherry, his wife Sally and their three children, Miah, Alexander and Sasha of Forth, Tasmania and Dr. Chris Sherry (PhD) of Brisbane, Queensland; a sister Anne Adamson of Esher, Surrey, UK; numerous nieces and nephews in England and Spain; and the Morrison family in Canada. She was predeceased by a sister Erica in 1992 and by her first husband Ray Sherry in 1989. Dorothy and Ken Morrison married in 1992, dividing their time between Tasmania and Western Canada. Dorothy, at that time, resumed her strong interest in watercolor painting and was a cofounder of the Naramata Arts Society. She was an active member of the Canadian Federation of Arts. No flowers by request. Contributions should be directed to the Australian Cancer Society.
