Mrs. Wallace, a native of Murfreesboro, TN, was the beloved wife of Robert F. Wallace for 66 years and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Sara Bragg McKnight. Mrs. Wallace was a homemaker, a member of East Main Street Church of Christ of Murfreesboro, TN and was a former volunteer at Lexington Hospital in Columbia for many years. During World War II, she was a lab assistant on the Manhattan Project at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, TN where she met her husband, Bob. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Gary Wallace and his wife Linda of Newberry, SC; two grandsons, Derek Wallace and Reid Wallace; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Teresa of Houston, TX and five sisters. She was predeceased by a son, Craig Wallace and two sisters.Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 24th at Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory, officiated by Rev. Sal Barone.
