Quinn, Dorothy M. FT. MYERS, Fla. Dorothy M. Quinn, 90, of Ft. Myers, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at Cypress Creek Assisted Living in Sun City Center, Fla. Formerly of Troy, N.Y., Dorothy was a former dance teacher and performer and retired from the Cluett & Peabody Company. Born July 21, 1919 in Troy N.Y., she is survived by her sister, Ruth Handy; two step-children, Clifford and Richard Quinn; four step-grandchildren, David, Debbie, Mark and Matt; five step-great-grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and George Leonard; two brothers, Donald and Rodrick Leonard; her first husband, Carlton Warhurst; and her second husband, Chester Quinn. Interment in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would prefer memorial contributions to Hope Hospice.
