of Fitchburg; 77 FITCHBURG -- Dorothy Ann (Blair) Norris, 77, of Fitchburg, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in the Kindred Hospital after an illness.Dorothy was born in Shirley on July 30, 1933, daughter of the late William and Lena (DeVarney) Blair. She worked for Meals on Wheels for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Leo's Church in Leominster and enjoyed bingo, gardening, flowers, and shopping.She leaves her children, Donna Gurley of Fitchburg, Gary Norris of Maine, Kathleen Hart of Maine, Randy Norris of Maine; grandchildren, Jason and Candice Gurley, Terry, Sarah, and Christine Hart, Ricky Turski, Mark Norris, Christina Santiago, Christopher, Matthew, and Katie Norris; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernie Blair of Leominster; a sister, Myrtle Bliss of Gardner; several nieces and nephews, including her special niece, Nancy Koski of Leominster.Dorothy was predeceased by her four sisters and five brothers.NORRIS -- The funeral will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery.A calling hour will precede the funeral on Saturday from 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
