Arthur, Diane T.Sept. 7, 1937 - Dec. 6, 2010Diane Thall Arthur passed away peacefully on Dec. 6, 2010 at Our Home, convalescence facility. Diane was predeceased by her parents, George William (Willie) Thall and Hazel Homes Thall and her beloved uncle, Harold Blumenthall. She is survived by her step-mother, Virginia Gridley, brother Robert Thall, his wife Jane Thall and their sons, Darien and William Thall, brother Roger Gridley, sisters Carla Jackson and Melissa Murray, and several nieces and nephews.Diane, after receiving her undergraduate degree from Wittenburg University, Springfield, Ohio and her Masters degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, dedicated her professional career to education. She was a successful elementary school teacher and ultimately, an elementary and middle school principal in Ohio. She also supervised student teachers for Wright State University and taught education methods classes at Wright State University in Ohio before retiring to Bradenton, Fla. Diane was involved in community theatre in both Bradenton and Sarasota.A memorial gathering will take place at The Shores chapel, 1700 Third Avenue West, Bradenton, Fla. on Dec. 29, 2010 at 1 p.m.
