David G. Snyder of Montrose, Pa.David G. Snyder, 82, of Montrose, Pa., passed away at the Hospice Preferred Choice Unit in Peckville, Pa. on Wednesday, October 9, 2002. He was born in Johnson City, N.Y. to the late Hubert E. and Amy (Titis) Snyder. His wife of 56 years, Dorothy B. Snyder survives him. David graduated from U.E. High School, worked for the Bendix Corporation for 37 years and was a member of the Montrose United Mehtodist Church. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharron and Paul Palmiter, Redmond, Wash.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Tami Snyder, Springville, Pa.; four grandchildren, Katherine Dean Palmiter, Andrea Story Palmiter, David Palmiter and Christine Lynne Snyder; and one nephew. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday October 14, 2002, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, Pa., with the Rev. Dr. Horace Brown King, of the Montrose United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, N.Y. Friends may call on the family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in David's name be made to Endless Mtns. Health Foundation, 36 Lake Ave., Montrose, Pa. or American Cancer Society, 1101 Hill St., Jessup, Pa. 18434.
