David Everett Harrison, 54, fell asleep in the arms of our Lord on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2007. Having served two tours in Vietnam, how fitting to go Home on that day! David was born to Phyliss and Edward Harrison in Washington, D.C. He spent his youth in Boston, Mass., and moved to Flagler County upon entering the ninth grade. He very much enjoyed being the big brother to his siblings, John (Eileen), Ralph (Ginny) and Susie, who is already waiting for him in Heaven. Left to cherish his memory is his life partner, Jami McAfee; and his stepchildren, James, Victoria and Amanda. He was very proud to be "Grampy" to 11 grandchildren; and to be uncle to several nieces and nephews. The family respectfully asks you to remember all our veterans. We thank the Rev. Douglas Swan and Craig's Funeral Home for their gracious services. Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Palm Coast Community Center at 3 p.m.
