SOMERSWORTH -- David Carl Coburn, 67, of 44 Pinewood Drive died March 14, 2008.The son of Philip and Sophie (Klapsa) Coburn, he resided in the Somersworth area for more than 50 years.He was a dedicated employee with more than 40 years of service as an engineer for General Electric in Somersworth. He took pride in his work and was honored to work with individuals for which he had the utmost respect.He served in the New Hampshire National Guard.He was a world traveler, enjoyed golf and skiing and was an avid sports fan.He always put others above himself and was a gracious man, a true friend and a caring father.Family members include two sons, Scott Coburn and Mark Coburn; five grandchildren; one brother, Alan Coburn of Manchester; two sisters, Nancy Jenkins of Goffstown, and Carolyn Tartsa of Manchester; and several neices and nephews.SERVICES: Services are private.French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast Street, Goffstown, is in charge of arrangements (www.frenchandrising.com).
