DERRY, Donald W. With deep sadness, but peaceful hearts, we say goodbye to our cherished and loving husband, father and grandfather who died February 22nd at the Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital at the age of 68 years. Adored husband of Darlene (Bonhower) for 43 years. Beloved father of Shannon (Ryan Anderson) of Ottawa, and Ryan (Stephanie Bond) of Campbell River, BC. Loving and proud Papa of Rowan, Wesley, and Maxwell Anderson, and Kiera and Kenleigh Derry. Predeceased by his parents Doris Derry (née Smith) and Douglas Derry. Survived by his siblings Linda Giroux (Robert) and Robin Langevin (Normand). Will be missed by brother-in-law Ronald Bonhower (Susan Fitzpatrick) and by dear friend Keith Clingen. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the dedicated care, kindness and compassion shown to Don by the staff at the Cornwall Community Hospital, the Ottawa General Hospital and the Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital. A private celebration of Don's life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation.
