Deborah Kay Reed, 59, died Aug. 3, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland. She was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., and lived in Sebastian since 1993. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Missouri. She worked for IBM for 20 years. She volunteered at the North County Public Library and South Mainland Library. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Puxico. Survivors include her mother, Vivian Reed of Barefoot Bay; sisters, Susan Guy of Sebastian and Carla Auchterlonie of Huntsville, Ala.; brother, Michael Reed of Buford, Ga.; and close friend, Mabel Martin of Roseland. She was preceded in death by her father, Jean C. Reed. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at Community Baptist Church, Sebastian.
