Clara Gallant 1909-2003 SHEDIAC, NB-Clara Gallant, 93 of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2003 at her residence. Born in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and the late Emelie (née: Doiron) Babin. Mrs. Gallant is survived by two daughters, Helen (Raymond) Girouard of Irishtown and Jeanne (Louis) Pellerin of Dieppe; three sons, Tommy (Camilla), Paul (Heather), both of Dieppe and Johnny (Germaine) of Tweedie Brook; one sister,Marie Gosselin of Montreal; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas in 1965; four sisters, Evangeline, Melina, Doris and Elzia; four brothers, Edgar, Aimé, Alyre and Alderic; and also by two grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday June 24, 2003 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn) on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. In her memory, donations to the Dr. Georges-L,Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology Unit) would be appreciated.
