Avis de décès de Christine-Marie Lefevre


Christine Marie LeFevre-Blair, 55, Denmark, passed away on Sept. 4, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side. Chris was born on July 11, 1950, to the late Roger and Bernice (VanBeek) LeFevre in Lincoln, Wis. She attended a one-room schoolhouse in Lincoln until she started high school. She was a 1968 graduate of Preble High School. In July 1986, she married Greyson Blair. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grove where she enjoyed five years as a Catechist and facilitator. She was employed for many years at St. Vincent Hospital but her true love was how she spent the last few years, working on her farmette raising chickens and pigs. Chris loved to spend time with family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also loved camping at Lost Lake, picking blackberries and attending the Mole Lake Bluegrass Festival. She was an expert gardener and was able to identify all types of flowers. She also enjoyed her vegetable garden and spent many hours canning. She was an excellent cook and was especially known for her Rhubarb-Custard Pie.She will be sadly missed by her husband, Greyson; her two sons, Lawrence (Sheri) George, Suring; and Roger George, Denmark; four granddaughters, Stephanie, Alina, Kayla and Samantha; seven sisters and one brother, Kathy VanDeHei, Denmark; Laura (Jim) Buresh, New Franken; Mona (Joe) Buresh, Green Bay; Louise (John) Potts, De Pere; Annette (Randy) Jensen, Green Bay; Steve LeFevre, Green Bay; Josy (Jim) Wavrunek, Denmark; and Mary (Frank) Buresh, Denmark; two stepsons, Rama (Robin) Blair and Stephen (Zoe) Blair; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother-in-law, Don VanDeHei, one sister-in-law, Janet LeFevre; two nephews, Joe and Andy; and one niece, Rosebud.Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home and Crematory, 1630 East Mason St., on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish Prayer Service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will continue at the church on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Holy Trinity Site, on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Burial is at Holy Trinity Cemetery.The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Green Bay Oncology, Bellin Hospital and Unity Hospice for the tender care they gave to Chris.
