Charlotte R. Burke, 91, formerly of 207 Echols St., died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Fairland Nursing Center of Silver Spring, Md. She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Burke.She was born on Aug. 11, 1913, in Newberry, the daughter of the late John Dominick and Alma Dominick Reeder. She was a former employee of Stanley and Mae Sedran, and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.She is survived by two sons, Carl S. Reeder, of Washington, D.C., and James Charles Reeder, of Compton, Calif.; two "adopted" daughters, Georgia A. Davis, of Taylors, and Marian Williams O'Neal, of Greenville; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
